Tertiary Admission Policies

Returnees

These are students previously enrolled in the University who stopped for one or several semesters and come back to re-enrol. During his absence he had not enrolled in another school.

The following rules shall apply to the returnees:

  • If during a semester or summer session, a student fails in one-third of the units he enrolled, he cannot re-enrol in the same course without a written recommendation of the Dean or Department Chair.

  • If a student fails a second time he is disqualified to re-enrol in the same course, but he may shift to another course if accepted by the Dean or Academic Chair.

  • If the student fails in similar manner a third time, he shall be disqualified from further registration in USP. This same rule applies to old students.
