Scholarship Programs
Honors Scholarship


Privilege:
A student who graduated with a “cum laude” or  ‘with honors” or better, whether in USP or in another institution of higher learning of recognized standing, may avail of the Honors Scholarship which consists of a 30% discount on tuition fee for one semester and may be extended in the following requirements and conditions are met:

Requirements:
  • He must obtain  the weighted final grade of 1.5 or better, during the previous semester
  • He does not have any grade below 1.7 in any of the subjects taken that semester;
  • He must have been carrying a prescribed regular load since he started enrolling in college whether in USP or in other school;
  • He must have passed in all non-academic subjects;

Conditions:
Misdemeanor or violation of the rules and regulations of the school is a ground for expulsion from the program.

In the succeeding semesters, he may apply for either university or college scholarship.  If he does not qualify in either university or college scholarship, he could no longer reapply in the succeeding semesters even if  he met the requirements.

Any university scholar who stops studying due to accident, serious illness, or calamities is only given one semester’s leave of absence.  He must inform the SAO in writing with evidence.
