The Office of the International Students and Special Programs organized an enhancement seminar entitled “University Orientation, Speech Enhancement and Intercultural Competence Seminar”. The said seminar was held in the Moot Court, Don Agustin Jereza Building last Saturday, January 23, 2010. The seminar was given by Mr. Neil S. Lacanlale. This effort will be in series to develop ESL students to be more proficient in English and Interpersonal Relationship as well.


The seminar started with an introduction of the Philippines and Cebu. The university profile was also presented. Basics in English were also incorporated. A tour around the campus was also done. The three-hour seminar ended with the distribution of certificates by Dr. Bryant C. Acar, OISSP Chair.

The ESL Students were from Seoil University.  This is part of the bilateral agreement between University of Southern Philippines Foundation and Seoil University.
